I design and build responsive, accessible websites, taking each project from the first wireframe through to clean, standards-compliant HTML5 & CSS3. I work daily in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, build and manage WordPress sites for real clients, and follow WCAG 2.2 from the first sketch to the final build.
About Me
I'm Shamim Hadad, a digital designer and front-end developer who cares about how things look, how they work, and whether they hold up once they're live. I take projects across the full lifecycle, from discovery and wireframes through interactive prototypes to the finished, responsive front-end build.
Through my freelance practice and my agency, Migap, I design and build websites for real clients: WordPress sites I create and manage end-to-end, landing pages, and full web platforms. I stay involved from the first client conversation to launch, so the design intent actually survives the build.
My foundation is an MSc in User Experience Design from Birmingham City University, where projects like Parent Hub, a platform for parents with disabilities, shaped how I work today: accessible, inclusive design isn't a checklist I run at the end, it's something I design within from the first sketch, guided by WCAG 2.2.
Alongside client work, I design dashboards for Plugzio, an EV charging platform, and I've built AI-assisted products like GetSettle. That work keeps me close to emerging technology and to how real users behave in complex interfaces.
What I Do

Web Design & Front-End Build
Through Migap Digital Agency, I take client projects from brief to launch: site structure, Figma wireframes and prototypes, high-fidelity UI, then the responsive HTML5/CSS3 build itself, including WordPress sites I create, extend, and manage for clients.

Product & Dashboard UX/UI
At Plugzio (Parkizio Technologies), I design and iterate on the manager and user dashboards for an EV charging platform. Working alongside deployment operations gives me a practical sense of how interfaces need to perform for the people who rely on them every day.

Accessible, Standards-Led Delivery
I design and build to WCAG 2.2: semantic structure, keyboard navigation, colour contrast, and screen-reader checks are part of my workflow from wireframe to launch. For Autoride Ltd I also handle ongoing site administration, performance, and SEO. Visit Autoride

Wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups in Figma. Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, XD. Component libraries, design systems, and multilingual, right-to-left interfaces.

Semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, colour contrast, reduced-motion support, and screen-reader checks, applied from wireframe through to build rather than bolted on at the end.

User interviews, surveys, and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate product direction.

Explaining design decisions to non-technical clients, running design reviews, and producing clear handover documentation for developers.
